Data Methodology

FOIA Data Integration

ClaimTrove incorporates federal FOIA data as part of its internal intelligence layer to identify the correct employer and insurance carrier.

We do not surface or distribute FOIA documents within the platform.

Instead, each result is:

Derived from authoritative federal sources

Including FOIA responses from the Department of Labor, Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP), and other federal agencies with jurisdiction over DBA and LHWCA claims.

Corroborated across administrative decisions and government datasets

FOIA-derived intelligence is cross-referenced against BRB/OALJ adjudicative decisions, USAspending contract awards, SAM.gov entity registrations, and OWCP carrier authorization records to ensure accuracy.

Structured and weighted within a multi-source intelligence model

Each data point is assigned a confidence weight based on its source tier, temporal relevance, and corroboration depth. Results reflect the composite strength of evidence, not any single source in isolation.

Internally traceable, with audit-ready validation processes

All source data is cataloged with provenance metadata, ingestion timestamps, and SHA-256 document fingerprints. The platform maintains a complete audit trail from raw source to final result.
